Rebalance your relationship with food and free yourself from its hold.

So many of us struggle with food: serial dieting, over-eating, restricting, calorie counting, over-exercising, making promises to ourselves, bingeing, secret eating, perceiving different foods as 'good' and 'bad' - all of which lead to a sense of defeat, unhappiness and, often, money wasted.

'Weight' and 'size' begin to take over our lives.

We may eat for comfort, because we're lonely, through frustration or perhaps because we don't like something about ourselves. Often we eat (or don't eat) because of something in our past that is affecting the way we feel about ourselves. It could be something that was said to us, something we experienced, or behaviours we have witnessed and taken on as our own.

We may feel out of control in other areas of our lives and what we feed ourselves becomes one of the only things we feel we can control. This can lead to bingeing and dieting, strict eating rules and complete loss of enjoyment of food.

Food can feel like the enemy.

To make things even worse, magazines, social media and TV all play their part in feeding us pressure to look and behave in a certain way.

My coaching treats the whole person. If you're ready to work with me, I can help you make the change you're looking for.

I offer support to change the way you think about food, the way you eat and to alter the autopilots in your brain that control your eating habits. This, teamed with gentle coaching, will help you to deal with emotional issues and  allow you to make the changes you need. We can also talk about body image and find a way to help you to accept and enjoy the way your body looks.

We will usually need 6-9 sessions together. I can also refer you to a sympathetic Nutritional Therapist, in addition to the programme, if we decide that would help.

Please contact me for a no-obligation chat and let's talk about how we can make this better for you.

'I worked with Linda to help me recover from a very long term issue with disordered eating. She is very easy to talk to and never judgmental. She supported me in taking small steps and when I felt I had failed helped me to see how things really were changing.

I looked at Linda's information many times before contacting her - I wish I had contacted her sooner.'  B.G. Essex.

Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. Life can be better.
